I have decided to incorporate clocks of the city into my project also i'll be honest i was very bord with what i was doing, and i'v been looking at salvador dalers work and alice in wonderland and i think i'm back on track. I hope to try elting plactic to design clocks or the surface that clocks are formed on and then using materials from the enviroment or that resembel the enviroment to make the clock face well i must go do some more research!!! I'll keep in touch!!!!

Today I'm going to get out and about around the city and do some paintings using inks and water colour still focusing on statues but also their surroundings!

Urban Landscape - Statues

I have spent the last week researching the statues of limerick and the reasons for them being there, but there is one statue in particular located outside trinity rooms of two lions thats visually interesting my plan for the week ahead is to get the tones from the lion right in a photo like drawing and then to scale it up. After a talk today from Peter Blodou I have been inspired to start going out on the streets of limerick to paint my chosen source!
